Who Do You Think You Are?

One question that I see in personality test quite often…

What will your friends describe you as?

… and some of the examples that you’ll find in the check box includes…

  • funny
  • smart
  • nice
  • knowledgeable
  • fun to be around with
  • helpful
  • brave
  • independent
  • cheerful
  • thoughtful

… and the list goes on.

I find this ridicules. How on earth do I know what my friends think of me (as in the check box- which also happen to be all the goody traits)? If I’m supposed to assume, then the personality test would be inaccurate. Or does this mean that I’m supposed to know something at least or else something is wrong somewhere? Or maybe I’m the only one who is missing the point here…

Goodnight.

hmm,... my other hr friend which is her background from psychology told me that, such question asked is not actually to ask our friend's opinion because we definitely do not know what are they thinking on us. but, is it purposely trying to get OUR self reflection.
